Ms. Penny

Meet Ms. Penny! Penny was the first success story for Ladies First! Soniya found Penny as a stray in Memphis. She was malnourished, neglected and needed emergency surgery. Penny got the medical attention she needed at Grace Animal Hospital. It took a village but we got there. With help from amazing friends, physicians and staff, she gained weight, recovered from multiple surgeries and her skin and fur are so much better. Above anything we ever did, her spirit and perseverance prevailed.

Despite her difficult circumstances, she had love to give. Working with Blessed be the Bullies Rescue, we were able to find Penny an amazing home in Rockland, Maine.
