Soniya Pinto
Meet founder Soniya! Soniya grew up in Mumbai, India and was especially moved by the resilience of the street dogs around her, the brave moms who nursed their pups and survived in difficult conditions!
Soniya now has 3 boy dogs of her own: Mr Johnny Cash, Zion, and Vincent. Through Ladies First, she helps mom’s and puppy litters, pregnant mamas and re-homes injured female dogs.
Kirsten Menn
Kirsten grew up in Palo Alto, California. She has had pets her entire life, including dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, rabbits, fish, and multiple small reptiles. She has volunteered with local wildlife and domestic animal rescues for over 20 years. She now has three dogs and two cats, and continues to foster injured or orphaned animals from home.

Amy C
Amy is an IDTA level 3 dog trainer who helps rehab timid and traumatized dogs. These dogs are often labeled aggressive, but usually just need the time and patience needed to understand them. She enjoys seeing their transformation and helping guide new pet owners to understanding their new furry family member.

Sarah opens her house and heart to our rescues while they are looking for their forever homes. She is known for her personalized one on one care and unique training style.
